SmartXE 3-Axis Handheld Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer
I spent the last week testing the SmartXE 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal to see if it could actually replace a bulky camera rig for my daily social media updates. This stabilizer aims to simplify the filming process for smartphone users, and I put its AI tracking capabilities to the test in various environments.
Performance & Build Quality
The build of the SmartXE feels robust for a handheld device, utilizing lightweight materials that don't compromise on durability. Its 3-axis rotation system is impressively smooth, effectively eliminating jitter from walking shots and maintaining a steady frame throughout extended filming sessions.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the device is straightforward, with the included tripod providing excellent stability for hands-free tracking shots. The AI face tracking feature works reliably, keeping the subject centered even during quick movements, which makes it perfect for TikTok or dynamic vlogging content.
This gimbal is the perfect upgrade for mobile content creators and vloggers who need consistent, professional-looking footage without the complexity of a full-sized rig.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the SmartXE earns a solid 4.66 out of 5 rating for its seamless integration and reliable performance. Given the $109.00 price tag, it provides significant value for anyone looking to refine their production quality on the go.
